What is segamis?

Selgamis is a prescription cream with the active ingredient Trifaroten, a topical retinoid of the latest generation. It is the first retinoid that is specifically approved for the treatment of acne on the face AND on the hull (breast, shoulders, back).

Trifaroten is a selective RAR-gamma agonist. The retinal receptor gamma is the most common receptor in the skin and plays a central role in skin renewal. Through the targeted activation of this receptor, trifaroten acts particularly effectively against acne.

Selgamis is applied once a day in the evening and is approved for adults and young people from 12 years.

Active Ingredients & Mechanism of Action

Effects:

  • Solves existing comedons (center)
