Refund Policy

Transparent terms for the refund of the prescription fee — automatic, fast and uncomplicated.

1. Scope

This refund policy governs the reimbursement of the prescription fee (€2.98 or €4.99) that you pay via our platform deinrezept.de to MEDICARE HEALTH GROUP LTD for the medical consultation and the issuance of a private prescription.

Important note: We do not process payments for medication. Payment for the prescribed medication is handled directly between you and the dispensing pharmacy and is not subject to this policy.

2. Automatic refund if the doctor declines

If, after reviewing your information, the consulting doctor is unable to issue a prescription, you will automatically receive a full refund of the prescription fee. You do not have to file any request and do not need to take any action.

The refund is initiated immediately after the doctor's decision and is processed within 5 business days to the original payment method.

3. Refunds in further cases

A refund will additionally be issued in the following cases:

  • Technical errors that have led to a duplicate or multiple charging of the prescription fee.
  • Demonstrable misbookings, unauthorized payments or amounts charged in error.
  • Exercise of your statutory right of withdrawal pursuant to § 355 BGB within the legal period (see Right of Withdrawal).
4. Refund method and timeframes

Refunds are generally processed via the same payment method that you used for the original transaction (e.g. credit card, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay).

Processing time on our side: a maximum of 5 business days. Depending on the payment provider, the actual credit to your account may take an additional 1 to 10 business days.

You will not incur any fees for the refund.

5. Requesting a refund

For automatic refunds you do not need to take any action — we initiate the process independently after the doctor's decision.
