Regaine Frauen

Regaine Frauen contains 2% minoxidil and was developed specifically for women with hereditary hair loss. The lower concentration reduces the risk of unwanted facial hair.

Women often suffer from diffuse hair loss or thinning hair along the part. Regaine Frauen can help improve hair density here.

Minoxidil improves blood flow to the scalp and stimulates hair growth. In women, it works for:

• Thinning hair on the top of the head
• Diffuse hair loss

Women with:

• Hereditary hair loss
• Thinning hair along the part
• Diffuse hair loss

Not suitable: pregnancy, breastfeeding.

• 2% minoxidil
• Apply 1 ml 2x daily
• Available as a solution

Apply 1 ml to the dry scalp in the morning and evening and massage it in.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, scalp disorders, under 18 years of age.

Scalp irritation, itching, initial hair loss, rarely unwanted facial hair growth.

• Other products on the scalp: Do not use Regaine Frauen at the same time as other medicines on the scalp or under covering (occlusive) dressings. Products that increase absorption through the skin should also not be used together with it on the scalp.
• Tretinoin and dithranol: These active substances increase the absorption of minoxidil through the skin.
• Betamethasone dipropionate: It increases the minoxidil concentration in the tissue at the application site and reduces absorption into the blood.
• Vasodilating medicines: If you take vasodilating medicines at the same time, absorbed minoxidil could theoretically intensify a drop in blood pressure on standing up (orthostatic hypotension). This has not been clinically proven.
• Blood-pressure-lowering medicines: Regaine Frauen should not be used if you have high blood pressure, even if it is being treated with medicines, or if you have cardiovascular disease or heart rhythm disorders.
