What is Uro-Vaxom?
Uro-Vaxom® is an immunostimulant (oral immunization) for preventing recurrent urinary tract infections in adults. It contains lysates (broken-down components) of 18 different E. coli strains and trains the immune system to fight off urinary tract infections more effectively.
Uro-Vaxom® is not a vaccine in the classic sense but a form of oral immunostimulation. It is particularly suitable for women who suffer from frequently recurring bladder infections (more than 3 per year).
Active Ingredients & Mechanism of Action
Active ingredient: Lysate von Escherichia coli (OM-89)
