Im Vergleich zur rezeptfreien 60-mg-Variante (Alli) blockiert Xenical mehr Fett und führt zu stärkerem Gewichtsverlust.
Active Ingredients & Mechanism of Action
Active ingredient: Orlistat
Xenical hemmt gastrointestinale Lipasen und verhindert so die Aufnahme von etwa 30% des Nahrungsfetts.
Who is it suitable for?
Erwachsene mit BMI ≥ 30 oder BMI ≥ 28 mit Begleiterkrankungen, als Ergänzung zu Diät und Bewegung.
Available Dosages
120 mg, 3x täglich zu den Hauptmahlzeiten.
How to Take
Eine Kapsel vor, während oder bis 1 Stunde nach jeder fetthaltigen Mahlzeit.
Contraindications
Malabsorption, Cholestase, Schwangerschaft, bestimmte Medikamente.
Possible Side Effects
Fettige Stühle, Stuhldrang, Blähungen – besonders bei fettreicher Ernährung.
