What is Hezku?

Hezkue is a oral spray with the active ingredient Sildenafil for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. The spray is sprayed into the oral cavity where the active substance is absorbed via the oral mucosa.

The advantage over tablets: The absorption via the oral mucosa partially bypasses the first-pass effect in the liver and can lead to a faster action. In addition, the application is discrete and requires no water.

Sildenafil is the proven active ingredient from Viagra and belongs to the group of PDE-5 inhibitors that support erection when sexually excited.

Active Ingredients & Mechanism of Action

Active ingredient: Sildenafil 13,5 mg pro Sprühstoß

Sildenafil as PDE-5 inhibitors:

Active mechanism: 1. In sexual excitation, nitrogen monoxide (NO) is released Two. NO activates guanylate cyclase → cGMP rises 3. cGMP relaxes the swelling muscle 4. Sildenafil inhibits PDE-5 (develops cGMP) Five. cGMP remains effective for longer → stronger erection

  • Recording via oral mucosa (sublingual/buccal)
  • Partly bypassing the First Pass effect
  • Possibly faster action than tablets
