What is Eklira Genuair?

Eklira Genuair is a long-acting anticholinergic agent (LAMA) with the active substance alidinium bromide. It is used for bronchial-enhancing continuous therapy in chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD).

Unlike Spiriva (Tiotropium), Eklira 2x is inhaled daily. The Genuair inhaler is particularly user-friendly with a color change control system that indicates whether the inhalation has been performed correctly.

Eklira is made by AstraZeneca.
