What is Viagra Connect?
Viagra Connect is a special formulation of sildenafil that is available without a prescription in pharmacies in Great Britain. In Germany, however, Viagra Connect remains prescription-only.
The product contains 50 mg of sildenafil. It is intended for adult men with erectile dysfunction.

Identical to Viagra: sildenafil inhibits PDE-5 and thereby improves erections during sexual stimulation.

How to Take
One tablet 30-60 minutes before sexual intercourse.
Contraindications
Viagra Connect must not be taken in case of:
- Hypersensitivity to sildenafil or any of the other ingredients
- Concomitant use of nitrates or nitric oxide donors (e.g., amyl nitrite), as sildenafil increases the blood-pressure-lowering effect of nitrates
- Concomitant use of guanylate cyclase stimulators such as riociguat
- Conditions in which sexual activity is inadvisable, e.g., severe cardiovascular disease such as unstable angina pectoris or severe heart failure
- Recent stroke or heart attack
- Low blood pressure (below 90/50 mmHg)
- Severe hepatic impairment
- Loss of vision in one eye due to non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), regardless of whether it was related to a PDE5 inhibitor
- Known hereditary degenerative retinal disease such as retinitis pigmentosa
