What is Mayra?
Mayra is a combined antibabypille with the gestagen chloromadinone acetate and ethinylestradiol. Chlormadinone acetate has an antiandrogenic effect and can therefore help with acne and fatty skin.
The pill is a generic to Belara and contains the same active ingredients.
Active Ingredients & Mechanism of Action
Active ingredient: Chlormadinonacetat 2 mg, Ethinylestradiol 0,03 mg
Mayra prevented by:
- suppression of ovulation
- Thickening of the cervical mucus
- Antiandrogenic effect (against acne)

How to Take
21 days ingestion, 7 days off.
Contraindications
Not at risk of thrombosis, liver disease, hormone-dependent tumors.
