What is femigoa?

Femigoa is a monophasic combination pill with the gestagen Levonorgestrel and the estrogen ethinylestradiol. As a second-generation pill, it contains one of the best-examined gourmets.

The pill offers a very reliable protection against pregnancy and has a lower risk for thromboses compared to pills with newer gestagens.

Femigoa is a generic and therefore a cost-effective alternative to brand preparations with the same active ingredient combination.

Active Ingredients & Mechanism of Action

Active ingredient: Levonorgestrel 0,15 mg, Ethinylestradiol 0,03 mg

Femigoa has three mechanisms:

**1. Ovulation inhibition:* * The hormones suppress ovulation by inhibiting gonadotropin release.

**2. The cervical neck mucus becomes more viscous and impedes the penetration of sperm.

On daily intake, the Pearl index is very low (0.1-0.9).
