What pills are there?

The antibabypille is available in various designs that differ in their composition:

Combination pills (micropills): Contains estrogen and gestagen. They are the most frequently prescribed type of pills and offer a security of over 99 percent when correctly taken. Gaengige Praeparates contain ethinylestradiol in combination with various gestagens such as Levonorgestrel, Drospirenon or Dienogest.

Mini pill: Only stagnation (no oestrogen) and especially suitable for women who do not tolerate or breastfeed. The leaner mini pellet with Levonorgestrel requires a very precise intake while the newer version with Desogestrel offers a larger intake window.

Oestrogen-free pill: New Praeparate with Drospirenon without oestrogen combine the advantages of the mini pill (estrogen-free hueing) with the reliability of the combination pill.

Choosing the appropriate Praeparate depends on individual factors: age, pre-disorders, smoker status, weight and perseverance play an important role.

How the online prescription works

The sequence of a telemedical pill prescription is simple and structured:

1. Medical questionnaire: You answer questions about your health, pre-disorders, current medicines and your previous encoding behavior. Especially important are information on blood pressure, smoking, migraine with aura, risk of thrombosis and familiar preload.

Two. Aerial Pruefung: A doctor evaluates your details and checks whether the desired pill is suitable for you and safe. In case of concerns or contraindications, an alternative is suggested or a persuasive examination is recommended.

3. Recipe exhibition: In the case of a positive assessment, the recipe is issued. This can be redeemed in a pharmacy of your choice or transmitted directly to a partner apotheke.

4. Delivery: The pill is delivered discretely packed to you home, usually within one to two working days.

Risks and contraindications of the pill

The antibabypille is safe for most women, but carries risks that need to be taken into account in the medical advice:

Thrombosis risk: Combination pills increase the risk of venoese thromboembolia easily. The risk is the highest in the first year of intake and is particularly high for smokers over 35 years. 3rd and fourth generation (Drospirenon, Desogestrel) have a somewhat higher risk of thrombosis than pills with Levonorgestrel.

Contraindications: The combination pill should not be taken in: thrombosis in prehistory, migraine with aura, severe high blood pressure, certain liver diseases, smokers over 35 years and oestrogen-abhaengigen tumors.

Important: In the online consultation, give all relevant information honestly. Only in this way can the doctor make a safe recommendation. In the event of a doubt, a proper investigation is recommended.

Regular checks do not forget

Even if the online prescription is practical, regular gynaecological screenings should not be neglected. The juvenile cancer care in the gynecologist, blood pressure controls and the exaggeration of the individual risk profile are important unabated by the type of recipe exhibition.

With the following symptoms, you should immediately consult a doctor: severe leg pain or swelling, sudden breathing shortage, severe chest pain, visual acuity or unintentionally severe headaches. These could indicate thrombosis or embolism.

Telemedicine gains classical gynaecological care, but does not completely replace it. Take advantage of the convenience of online prescription for follow-up recipes, but continue to perceive your precautionary term.
